On June 3, 2006 Dane Castle was home to a hand-fasting ceremony and a knighting ceremony. Captain Robert and Lady Linda Shaner were married on February 2, 2006 and decided to invite family and friends to join them as they were joined in a hand-fasting ceremony performed by Lady G. Dane (aka Queen Cathy).

| For remaining true to the Knight's Code of Honor, Scott Rummel was presented the title of "Sir Scott Rummel, First Knight of Dane Castle" in a knighting ceremony by King Michael. After, Mike presented Sir Scott with the Claymore used in the ceremony.
